LEAF requires optimising the sharing and rehoming of resources. Earlier this year the FBMH Technical Operations team officially launched the Faculty\u2019s LabGoods4Reuse (LG4R) scheme.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This initiative was developed to improve sustainability within FBMH laboratories by rehoming laboratory equipment &\u202fconsumables.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Our aims are to reuse resources, reduce the amount of waste produced by FBMH labs, help new academics\/groups setup their lab with essential equipment and free up valuable space in laboratory areas through rehoming items and avoiding long term storage.<\/p>\n

The uptake by researchers across FBMH has been fantastic and we have already saved over \u00a3200,000 by rehoming lab equipment and consumables.\u00a0<\/p>\n

LG4R is open to all FBMH researchers and you can access the catalogue on our Lab Goods 4 Reuse sharepoint site.<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n
