Greater Manchester Humanitarian Directory
The directory is to support students seeking work, internship and volunteering opportunities in the Greater Manchester region, during and after your studies. Organisations are categorised across:

HCRI Careers Guide
The guide includes advice and info about building a career in the humanitarian sector, in international and domestic settings. It features interviews with alumni and other professionals, alongside route-specific advice for government, healthcare, academia and more.
Interviewees include:
Gareth Owen OBE (Save the Children) and Tony Redmond OBE (UK-Med).
The guide is available in physical and online versions.
Careers Service
University of Manchester Careers Service maintains pages of careers advice on government, charity, international development, and related areas.
It also runs a bursary scheme for undergraduates to support work experience placements. The fund will open for applications in November.

CRI Alumni Network (LinkedIn)
We have created a private group for students and alumni of HCRI to share advice and job opportunities.
The group is quite new but already has over 300 members, across a wide range of countries and sectors.
