Some of the highlights so far include:<\/p>\n On Thursday 4th<\/sup> December HCRI launched Afghanistan: The transition the Medecins Sans Frontires\/Doctors Without Borders (MSF)’s photography exhibition<\/a>, in collaboration with documentary photographers Andrea Bruce and Mikhail Galustov, that presents a series of highly evocative photographs capturing personal stories from MSFs Afghanistan projects to highlight the serious ongoing problems of accessing basic health care in Afghanistan. HCRI staff and students were joined by the Manchester branch of the Friends of MSF who introduced the exhibition. Professor Peter Pormann, Founding Director of the John Rylands Institute<\/a> also attended. The exhibition has been brought to Manchester in collaboration with HCRI and will run until mid-February 2015 at the John Rylands library on Deansgate.<\/p>\n\n\t\t“Afghanistan: The transition” Photography Exhibition<\/h2>\n
