My inspiration for becoming a nurse comes from my parents since my father was a soldier and my mother was a nurse. When my father passed away, I was very young and did not know about his illness. It was my deep feeling that someday I must be able to take care of my family. My mother taught me not only how to be a good professional nurse, but also shaped me to be a hard-working, responsible, and self-motivated person. There was no doubt for me to obtain the first-class honour in my Bachelor degree and received the scholarship for my PhD. Studying PhD in Nursing at the University of Manchester could make my life challenging, enhance my abilities, strengthen my knowledge and discover new experience in nursing care. Consequently, this will achieve my goals to develop my country by helping people to be healthy and have longevity.
