One of our PhD students in the BEAM Lab, Camilla Woodrow-Hill, recently attended the Research in Imagery and Observation conference in Limerick to give a talk on her research. The talk was entitled, ‘Combined action observation and motor imagery of keyboard typing: automatic imitation or cognitive interference?” which detailed the findings of two experiments conducted in healthy young adults and offers insight into how simultaneously watching and imagining movement influences typing performance.
