Autism@Manchester teamed up with Live With Scientists to present an interactive event discussing why its important for scientists to involve the community that they are researching in their studies. Emma Gowen, Daniel Poole, Leneh Buckle, Ceri Elliis and Peter Baimbridge used real life examples from autism research to highlight what could go wrong if community involvement is not obtained and how you can go about ensuring involvement.
