January – March 2019 – Reproducible science
Jade attended the Advanced Methods for Reproducible Science workshop at Great Windsor Park in January, and following this she wrote an article about the workshop and open science from the perspective of an early career researcher, which has been published on the University’s Open Knowledge in HE Medium page.
In February Jade and Dan, along with other early career researchers, set up the ‘ReproducibiliTea’ journal club, which is affiliated with the university’s Open Science Working Group and aims to hold regular fortnightly meetings to discuss issues of reproducibility in published research. The group is open to all career levels and disciplines within the University.
