Colin Baines is the Head of Technical Skills and Development, and Technical Apprenticeship Lead for the University of Manchester. During the University’s General Assembly workshop at the beginning of May, the 30+ attendees had the opportunity to hear Colin present the details of the apprenticeship programme at Manchester. This was followed by two apprentices, Doug Cragg and Alisha Quinn, giving a first-hand account of their experience on our programme.

This is a great example of how the University of Manchester is taking steps to increase the visibility of technical roles within our organisation.
