HCRI is pleased to support World Humanitarian Day which commemorates those aid workers who have lost their lives in service and celebrates the work that humanitarians carry out around the world, as well as raising awareness of current humanitarian projects.
The Humanitarian and Conflict Response Institute at The University of Manchester facilitates improvements in crisis response on a global scale whilst providing a centre of excellence for those involved in the business of providing aid and making peace. We have an active programme of teaching, research and engagement around these issues, and information about the institute can be found on our website.
