The PG Cert Global Health has been a very challenging and enriching experience. Very useful links were provided for additional reading, and the course was very interactive with discussion sessions that were very rich in content and arguments, where everybody’s contribution was acknowledged with useful criticism. Over the period of the course I was able to shape and broaden my views in the area of health as a right and our responsibilities in humanitarian responses. The course content is very broad, touching on all social and economic conditions that affect health and health outcomes.

I currently work in the field of HIV prevention in Nigeria, and plan on broadening my scope into the wider field of global health. It is with this in mind that I set out to search for a school that will provide me the requisite experience and skills to achieve my plans. The PG Cert in Global Health, has enabled me sharpen my technical and leadership skills at a higher level as well as develop expertise in humanitarian response so as to help translate world events to effective global health program responses. Enrolling for the PG Cert. Global Health program at the University of Manchester was one of the best decisions I made. I would not exchange my University of Manchester experience with anything else. All my expectations for the program have been met.
