Developing online postgraduate programme in Global Disaster Management

The Humanitarian and Conflict Response Institute recently signed a collaborative agreement with PolyUs School of Nursing, to jointly develop an online postgraduate programme in Global Disaster Management.

This programme aims to provide students with an opportunity to develop and expand their knowledge, skills and judgment in the field of global health and disaster management with emphasis on disaster risks, vulnerability and resilience of communities.

 

Prof. Angelina Yuen, PolyU Vice President (Institutional Advancement and Partnership), Prof. Alex Molasiotis, Head of School of Nursing of PolyU and Prof. James Thompson, Associate Vice President for Social Responsibility and Prof. Bertrand Taithe, Executive Director of the Humanitarian and Conflict Response Institute of University of Manchester, U.K. attended the agreement signing ceremony on 21 November at PolyU Campus.
