Our PPIE Celebration Events 2017-2023

by | Oct 7, 2021 | Spotlight On | 0 comments

Since the formation of the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health (FBMH) in 2016 we have hosted an annual Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) celebration event.

Our initial aim was to celebrate the positive impact of PPIE across the Faculty and to provide our PPIE community a chance to network. The audience for the event is Public Contributors, staff and students who are associated with the Faculty.

Each year we focus on a different theme where we then feature guest speakers and activities related to that theme. Some of our events also feature the Faculty’s ‘Outstanding Contribution to PPIE’ awards which recognise the inspirational and outstanding commitment to PPIE that has made a positive difference to our community.
