On Wednesday 2nd October, Academic Clinical Fellow in Emergency Medicine and HCRI Honorary Research Fellow, Dr. Anisa Jafar will give the first Speaker Series Seminar of 2013/14. The seminar will focus on Dr. Jafar’s experiences of working to further humanitarian goals, as she reflects on what led her to chosen field of work and what questions were raised as she entered it.

The HCRI Speaker Series comprises of six seminars given by figures who have experience working with humanitarian charities or NGOs. See the Semester One Speaker series poster for more information on upcoming seminars over the next few months.

HCRI Speaker Series events are open to University of Manchester students and staff and are free to attend. Please email the institute to reserve your place as registration is required.
