A delegation of senior Chinese doctors and health administrators visited the HCRI for two days in December to learn about the delivery of emergency care and disaster management in the UK. With presentations from HCRI and Northwest Ambulance Service, together with visits to Wythenshawe Hospital, the NWAS Emergency Operations Centre, Ambulance Special Operation Base and the North West Air Ambulance, the two days were intense and fast moving.

Run at the NWAA Pre-hospital Aeromedical Institute, City of Manchester Airport, for the HCRI, this was the first such visit and, from first feedback, it is unlikely to be the last!
